Get to know the first church built by the Portuguese in its maritime expansion in the 15 ^th Century. Located in the park of Sta. Catarina, see the chapel of Sta. Catarina, one of the first erected on the island; by the Sé Cathedral, a church dating back to the 15 ^th Century.

You will finish the tour by passing through the old part of town, enjoy a guided visit to the Botanical Garden with its wide variety of trees and plants, brought from all over the world, some of which are endemic to Madeira Island.
