Golfe de Porto
The Gulf of Porto in Corsica is a wonderland of natural wonders, and listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Surrounded by red cliffs, and known for its beautiful sunsets, Porto is a must see vacation destination. The gulf offers a variety of outdoor activities including watersports, mountain walks, horse riding, cycling, deep-sea diving, snorkeling, and guided sea excursions. Nature lovers will also enjoy visiting The Scandola Nature Reserve, 'La Poudriere' Aquarium in Porto, and the Evisa natural pools.
Calvi, with its long sandy beach, boarded by parasol pine-trees, is dominated by a Genoese citadel planted on a promontory with the small town below, extending along a waterfront, bustling with fishing boats and yachts. Not surprising its idyllic setting is so attractive for ships of all sizes.
