Its 2% share of the Amazon is known as the Oriente, including Cuyabeno Wildlife Preserve, Huaorani Protectorate, Upper Napo and Yasuni National Park. A small colonial village in the highlands of Imbabura Province, it is here where agricultural farmland thrives. Tranquil and scenic Zuleta is surrounded by beautiful mountains where villagers still wear their traditional costumes on a daily basis. Cloth embroidery, dairy products, and Alpaca farming is way of life and highlighted in the village’s tourism.
